Stay CalmTraining
Community Partnerships
in Cairns and Far North Queensland
Practical community support, quality training and meaningful recognition for local organisations.
Stay Calm Training works with community groups, charities, volunteer organisations, sporting clubs, schools and local initiatives that make Cairns and surrounding communities safer, more confident and better prepared.
A Community Partnership is a tailored arrangement that identifies the benefit to the community, the support we provide and how the partner will recognise that contribution.
Who can be considered?
We consider organisations and initiatives that deliver a genuine community, educational, charitable or not-for-profit benefit across Cairns and surrounding Far North Queensland communities. We look for an active local presence, meaningful participation, a positive contribution to safety or wellbeing, and the ability to publish an approved story on the organisation’s website and share it with members. Each proposal is assessed on its merits; meeting these criteria does not guarantee support.

Genuine partnership looks like
Genuine community benefit
Practical and proportionate support
Accurate public recognition
Privacy, consent, safety and reputational safeguards
What could a partnership include?
Support is tailored to the people involved, the activity and the agreed community outcome. Subject to a written partnership arrangement, it may include:
A defined discount or subsidy from Stay Calm Training for approved nationally recognised training.
A contribution towards safety equipment such as an AED, with non-accredited AED awareness or induction.
Non-accredited safety demonstrations, community education or event support.
Selected professional services, including appropriate support from Cairns Fire Safety
Advice on digital marketing, community stories and sponsor recognition to help the organisation offer stronger local visibility to its supporters.
A training discount may be the sponsorship contribution. It applies only to the agreed course, eligible participants, period and conditions.
Products, services and training outside the agreement can be quoted separately.A meaningful partnership works both ways
We ask every Community Partner to publish a substantive article or editorial story, approved by Stay Calm Training, on a public, accessible and indexable page of its website.
The article must include an approved link to Stay Calm Training. Our preferred approach is to publish the approved newsletter article on the website first, then email members a link to that published page. The story should explain the genuine activity and community outcome, with recognition proportionate to the support provided. A tagged social post, venue notice, logo or bare link can add visibility, but cannot replace the approved article and member communication. We can help a partner plan this content and improve its wider sponsor recognition process.

How training and enrolments work
Where nationally recognised training is included, Stay Calm Training creates the course and supplies or approves the course information and communication.
A Community Partner must not present the training as its own or offer, sell or resell the course in its own name.
When the partner’s website or newsletter refers to nationally recognised training, it must include the approved attribution:
“Stay Calm Training is delivering training and assessment on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd, RTO 90909.”
The partner may manage enrolments into a course created specifically for it, using the agreed process, eligibility rules and participant limits.
Stay Calm Training retains control of the course, enrolment requirements and systems, delivery, assessment, certification and learner support.
Course payments and questions outside the partner’s agreed enrolment role go to Stay Calm Training unless the written arrangement says otherwise.
Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909 must not be shown as the partner’s sponsor or community partner.
From enquiry to community outcome
Tell us about your initiative
Explain who benefits, what support you seek and how your organisation communicates with its members.
Discuss a suitable arrangement
We assess the proposed community benefit, practical support and meaningful recognition.
Agree the details in writing
The partnership schedule records support, eligible participants where applicable, approved wording and links, enrolment roles, publication dates and the evidence needed.
Publish and deliver
The approved story is published on the partner’s website and shared with members. The agreed activity or training then proceeds under the schedule.
Review the outcome
We check the deliverables and community benefit and discuss any future arrangements separately.
